Perpignan Conservatory / Perpignan Orchestra

  Emmanuel began the double bass at the Conservatory of Perpignan in the class of his father, Gérard Massat. He continued his studies at the Conservatory of Versailles in the class of Jacques Cazauran, where he obtained a first prize unanimously. He then perfected his skills at the Geneva HEM with Franco Petracchi.

 

  He holds the State Diploma of Professor. 

 

  Former co-soloist of the Philharmonie de Dos Beiras, Aveiro, Portugal and solo double bass of the Orchester de l'Emporda in Spain, he has also taught at the conservatories of Coimbra (Portugal), Béziers and Narbonne.

 

  Currently, Emmanuel is a professor at the CRR of Perpignan and co-soloist of the Orchester de Perpignan-Meditérannée.
