NICOLAS CROSSE
(France)

Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris /
Ensemble inter-contemporain

Nicolas Crosse studied at the Paris Conservatory (CNSMDP) in the class of Jean-Paul Celea. In 2012, he became a member of the Modern Ensemble and then a soloist of the Intercontemporain Ensemble.
In 2016, he was appointed professor of double bass at the CNSMDP. There are many musical and interdisciplinary collaborations. Loyalty with artists such as Yann Robin, Marco Suarez Cifuentes, Nieto, Lucas Fagin, Luis Fernando Rizo-Salom, Tolga Tüzün, Martin Matalon, Raphaël Cendo, Yannick Haenel, Nicolas Ducloux, Eric-Maria Couturier, Roberto Negro, Michele Rabbia or the Multilateral collective follow one another season after season.
Developing and teaching the double bass repertoire at a high level are two fascinating facets of his artistic life.
